A cohesive library. A brand people know. A message written for those at-risk. A source parents, youth workers, attorneys, and mentors trust. A system that teaches families what to say, what to do, and what to look for. A structure reliable enough for licensing and partnerships.
The programmatic goal of 1 I OPEN, LLC is to reduce youth involvement in violence, risky peer environments, social-media-driven conflicts, and justice-system contact by equipping families and stakeholders with our proprietary Cautionary Intelligence™ chapbook micro-lessons, real-time behavioral guidance, and structured diversionary support through evidence-based Behavior Navigation Modules.
What Sets Us Apart
We don't preach or scare. Our specialization is helping youth: 1) Identify high-risk peers and unsafe environments; 2) Reduce impulsive behavior in conflict moments; 3) Adopt safe-movement habits (who, where, how, when); 4) Understand the legal and personal consequences of choices; 5) Strengthen emotional regulation; and 6) Reduce harmful social media behaviors, while empowering parents and mentors to: A) Use Cautionary Intelligence™ scripts in real time; B) Improve supervision and intervention skills; C) Strengthen communication with their youth; and D) Build confidence in knowing how to interpret warning signs.
FLYPAPER TRAPZ Chapbooks and Workbooks are short, 6th-grade-readable field guides that are thoroughly researched and assembled to do much more than translate law, psychology, and cautionary street wisdom into actionable insight.
-
Licensed Discussion Circles: Our turnkey group modules that partner agencies can run inside detention centers, reentry programs, or schools are structured for Intermediate Behavioral Outcomes in youth to: 1) Reduce contact with peers who increase criminal exposure; 2) Form stronger attachments with pro-social adults; 3) Engage consistently in school, work, or structured activities; 4) Avoid fights, weapons carriage, risky nightlife, and digital threats; 5) Build a future-focused identity; and 6) Demonstrate lower emotional reactivity and improved decision-making.
-
Community Stakeholders will experience reduced violent incidents among program-involved youth; Strengthen collaboration between families, providers, and justice systems, while building a sustainable pipeline for early-risk intervention.
-
The Impact (What the program ultimately changes), are: a) Fewer youth entering the juvenile or adult justice system; b) Lower recidivism for youth at highest risk; c) Stronger family involvement in diversion and prevention; d) A measurable reduction in community violence indicators; e) A new national model of Street Criminology-based early warning and prevention; and f) A self-sustaining, replicable system funders can scale across jurisdictions due to its unique cost-savings business model of priority interest to third-party Pay-for-Success/Social Impact Bond and Public-Private Partnership investment outside of traditional OJP/OJJDP grant funding dependencies.

WHO WE ARE

At 1 I OPEN, LLC, our highest priority is building community as a Peer Network around a shared mission to reduce preventable harm, prevent system-entry, and build better-adjusted people through cautionary education, self-leadership skills, and street-contextual decision frameworks as a model for a nationwide transformation movement.
We take the kind of lived experience that rarely makes it into professional spaces and pair it with research and system design that seldom reaches the people who need it most. The result is a form of Cautionary Intelligence that helps individuals and communities avoid the traps that quietly shape outcomes long before a courtroom ever enters the picture.
Engage With Us
Our primary purpose is simple and urgent: Put the right words, warnings, and strategies in the hands of anyone trying to pull someone they love out of harm's way and onto a trajectory of positive reinvention.
